Yes, FareHarbor offers built-in payment processing for tour and activity operators. You can accept online payments through FareHarbor’s booking system, as well as track non-credit card payment types like cash, checks, vouchers, and other custom payment methods directly in your Dashboard.
FareHarbor works with trusted payment service providers (PSPs), including Stripe and PayPal, to help operators provide a frictionless checkout experience for customers using payment methods they already know and trust. FareHarbor also supports in-person payment workflows, which are an important part of many tour and activity businesses.
Security is built into the platform as well. FareHarbor is Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant, meaning it meets industry security standards designed to help protect cardholder data. All payments collected through FareHarbor are processed by PCI Level 1-certified service providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or Adyen. FareHarbor also encrypts all data in transit using TLS 1.1 or greater.
Operators can also access payment processing invoices and credit notes directly in the Dashboard through the Payment Processing Documents Report, making it easier to manage accounting and tax reporting activities.
